Enable geofencing by going to Settings > Geofencing and configuring your desired actions. Make sure location services and permissions are enabled (Always Allow Location Permission) on your mobile device for the app.
If geofencing isn't working, check that your device's battery optimization settings are not restricting the app's background location access.
