Touch Pad is not Responding

Fixing an unresponsive AirTouch touch screen console.

If your AirTouch 5 console becomes unresponsive, follow the steps below to reset or power cycle the device.

Step 1: Restart the Console

Press and hold the power button on the right-hand side of the console for 2-10 seconds to restart it.

 

Step 2: Reset the Console

If restarting doesn't resolve the issue:

  1. Remove the console from the wall.

  2. Wait for 15 seconds.

  3. Reconnect the console to reset it.

  4. If the screen remains corrupted, try powering the console Off and On again.

Step 3: Power Cycle the System

If the issue persists after resetting:

  1. Locate the AC circuit breaker or isolation switch (usually found next to the outdoor fan unit).

  2. Turn it off for at least 30 seconds.

  3. Turn it back on to complete the power cycle.

Still Not Responding?

If the problem continues:

  • Please contact your air conditioning installer or a licensed electrician to check the setup.

  • If everything has been checked and confirmed to be in order, and the issue remains, please contact us to arrange a console replacement, provided the device is still under warranty.
